So I have a 8 month old Yorkie Puppy and he has terrible breath. I went to a dog boutique the other day and asked what they recommend I use to correct this problem. The owner told me that puppies are not suppose to have bad breath, it probably has to do with diet. She asked what food I was feeding him and said to check the ingredients - the ingredients that were in the food were probably the cause of the bad smelling breath.

I have tried getting him to eat another food and he won't eat it. Any suggestions? Could there be another reason for the bad breath?
